Education Qualification
Post-Graduation in either Hindi or English with either English or Hindi as a Discipline at the Degree Level OR Post-Graduation in any other subject with both Hindi and English as either a required or an optional subject at the Degree Level.
Experience
Experience translating from English to Hindi and Hindi to English, particularly of technical or scientific literature, is required. This experience should be relevant to the glossary. Among them, five years’ experience working in the area of Raj Bhasha as an official for any office of the federal or state government, including a public sector undertaking, is required.

Three years of full-time study leading to a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc. ), preferably with a focus on mathematics and physics. OR Bachelor of Engineering degree earned by full-time, regular study in any engineering specialty. (Physics and Mathematics have to be topics in the curriculum for each and every one of the semesters.)
The applicant is required to demonstrate a minimum level of competence in spoken and written English equivalent to the level of the 10+2 standard (the candidate shall have passed English as one of the subject in 10th or 12th standard).

A minimum of two years’ experience translating technical or scientific literature from English to Hindi and Hindi to English, particularly in the field of glossary translation, is required.

Education Qualification
Either a Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a topic studied at the undergraduate level OR a Master’s degree in English with Hindi studied at the undergraduate level. OR
Master’s degree in a field that is not either Hindi or English from a reputable university, together with graduation requirements that included either Hindi or English as either a required or an elective topic. OR
Masters degree in any field other than Hindi or English from a university that is recognised, together with the use of Hindi and English as the medium of instruction for either required or elective topics or for taking the graduation test. This means that if English is the language of instruction at the graduation level, then Hindi should be treated as either a required or an optional subject, or if Hindi is the medium of instruction, then English should be treated as either a required or an optional course. OR
any one out of both as medium of examination and other as compulsory/ optional subject along with recognised Diploma/ Certificate course of Hindi to English and English to Hindi Translation or two years’ experience of Hindi to English and English to Hindi Translation at Central/State government offices including Government of India Undertakings or reputed organisation

Experience translating from English to Hindi or vice versa for a period of two years in a Central or State Government Office, which may include work for a Government of India Undertaking or another respected institution.
