    CLAT (UG) is a very tough test that more than 45,000 people take every year. Out of those over 3500 applicants, only a few will actually get a job at an NLU. To do well on CLAT UG, students must first fully understand the course and then become familiar with the five CLAT topics listed in the CLAT UG 2025 schedule.

    CLAT UG Syllabus 2025 for English Language

    You will be given sections of about 450 words each for the English Language part of the CLAT 2025 course.

    The level of these passages is such that a 12th-grade student could read them in five to seven minutes. They will come from fiction and non-fiction books that are current or history.

    After each text, there will be a set of questions that will test your reading comprehension and language skills, such as your ability to:
