It has been decided that vacancies reserved for people with disabilities and economically disadvantaged people will be distributed on a centralised basis, rather than being assigned to a specific SIB. This will ensure that people with disabilities and economically disadvantaged people from all SIBx will have the opportunity to compete for vacancies reserved specifically for them. The selection of applicants would be based on merit, and the open positions would be given to the SIB that the candidates who were chosen to be selected belonged to. Before submitting an application, candidates should ensure that they meet all of the requirements outlined in the following paragraphs and subparagraphs, including those pertaining to age limit, essential qualifications, and other factors, for the positions of SA/Exe or MTS/Gen or both. Applicants are strongly encouraged to read all of the parameters that are outlined in the following paragraphs and subparagraphs. Candidates who meet the requirements for the positions, which are listed below, are invited to submit their applications ONLINE via the MHA’s website (www.mha.gov.in) or the NCS portal (www.ncs.gov.in) alone.
Age limit for Security Assistant/Executive Recruitment 2023
- The maximum age might be increased by 5 years for applicants from SC/ST and by 3 years for those from OBC.
- There is a relaxation of the upper age restriction for departmental applicants up to the age of 40, provided that they have completed three years of regular and continuous service. Only the Central Government is eligible for this reduction in requirements.
- It does not apply to persons working in PSUs, Autonomous/Statutory bodies, or other organisations of this kind. Civilian workers who hold civil offices.
- In the case of widows, divorced women, and women who have been judicially separated from their spouses but have not remarried, the age restriction may be relaxed up to the age of 35 years for general candidates and up to the age of 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
- The age limit is flexible for former service members, as well as for the children and dependents of victims of the riots that occurred in Gujarat in 2002 and the Sikh riots that occurred in 1984, in accordance with the instructions that the government has provided in this regard on an ongoing basis.
- The age restriction is relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years to the distinguished sportspersons indicated in Para 1 (a) of D.o.P. & A.R, O.M. No. 14015/1/76-Estt.(D), dated 4.8.1980. This relaxation may go up to a maximum of 5 years. The applicant who wishes to claim an age reduction under this category is required to provide the requested certificate, which must be in the form and issued by the authority specified in the OM that serves as reference. (As shown in the annexure that may be seen at the bottom of the more full advertising)
- Age relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit is permitted for PwD candidates, but only for the job of MTS (Gen), and only if the maximum age of the applicant on the important date does not exceed 56 years.
- If a person with a disability works for the Central Government and is eligible for an age concession because of that, then the concession will be granted to that person either in their capacity as a person with a disability or in their capacity as a Central Government employee, whichever provides the greater benefit to that person.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
Tier-I* (Common for SA/Exe & MTS/Gen) For 1 Hrs/100 Marks
Online Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing
20 questions of 1 mark each on:
a) General Awareness
b) Quantitative Aptitude
c) Numerical/Analytical/Logical ability& Reasoning
d) English Language &
e) General Studies
[Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.]
Tier-II#(Common for SA/Exe & MTS/Gen) For 1 Hrs/40 Marks
Offline Exam of Descriptive type
a) Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language/dialect
to English and vice versa.
Part of Tier-II (for SA/Exe only)
b) Spoken ability {to be assessed at the time of Tier-III exam (Interview/ Personality test)} For 10 Marks
Tier-III (for SA/Exe only)
Interview/Personality test For 50 Marks
* The qualifying scores for the Tier I test will be: UR–35, OBC–34, SC/ST–33, and EWS–35 (all Exservicemen will be treated in their own category, which may be UR, OBC, SC/ST, or EWS). The exam will consist of 100 questions.
# The purpose of the Tier-II test is to qualify candidates. When it comes to Tier-II, the minimum qualifying score is 16 out of 40 for MTS/Gen and 20 out of 50 for SA/Exe.
HOW TO APPLY
a) Applications of Security Assistant/Executive Recruitment 2023 must be submitted only via the ONLINE registration process, which may be completed by visiting the websites www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in. The submission of applications by any other means will NOT be tolerated under any circumstance.
b) The online application of Security Assistant/Executive Recruitment 2023 site will be available from January 28th through February 17th, 2023. (till 2359 hours). There will be no acceptance of registrations received before the 28.1.2023 or after the 17.2.2023.
